Obviously, we can’t cover the whole of this vast country but we can give you a taste, through the images that our Canadian friends (or like B.D. Colen an American who lives in Canada) have selected for you. Enjoy the storytelling and insight.

Anne Launcelott

Charles Lafrance is a self-taught photographer, living in Petite-Patrie. Before a major bicycle accident in 2016, the 55-year-old had never touched a camera. Instagram

Geoff Barsky Anna Lohmann told us about him and we found his story interesting. Instagram

Jane Oram “I love to create images that highlight the beauty of the ordinary, both in local landscapes and in street life.” Gallery

Philip Herge “Under other circumstances, I would have opted to showcase Toronto in its many different neighbourhoods, ethnically diverse and colourful. However, given the timing, I choose instead to showcase a reviving city. No less colourful.” 500px

Randall Romano “I believe the camera’s strength is its ability to capture fleeting moments, to stop time and create a sense of curiosity in the viewer. If a still image is to be successful it has to illustrate something missed and something fleeting. Chasing this fleeting moment of uniqueness allows me to better saviour life.”  Website: randallromano.com
