We are proud to announce the premier issue of our new on-line magazine
featuring the work of Progressive Admin and Moderators, comparing and contrasting the streets of Tokyo – along with other compelling stories. ProgressivE-zine
Our special guest for the premier issue is Los Angeles-based Michael Dressel, a leading figure in contemporary street photography. We know readers will be rewarded by Dressel’s no-nonsense approach to photography on the mean streets of Los Angeles and Hollywood, where he has lived for over 30-years.
Starting with our second issue of ProgressivE-Zine, the magazine will offer detailed information about subscriptions, terms, costs and general conditions.
It is simple: because ProgressivE-Zine will not be the usual street photography magazine.
Our vision is to use cameras to document cultural and social events across the globe - thanks to a network of first-class photographers.
The talent involved in this project reflects photographers from some of the biggest cities in the world-to-small, obscure towns. This wide-ranging background offers a unique opportunity to share the stories of people that reflect endless cultures in this pageant of humanity.
Moreover, we will offer a professional showroom of the best photographs of Progressive citizens.
ProgressivE-Zine will be downloadable in a non-printable high-quality format from our site.
Yet our intention is to also offer a traditional printed version; we all love the tangible experience involved in leafing through a photography book for all the insights and inspiration possible.
With best regards, the editors:
Batsceba Hardy, Robert Bannister, Fabio Balestra, Davide Dalla Giustina, Michael Kennedy
