Ephemera looks at the passing nature of things: not only objects, but also the thought, experience, and the meaning we attach to them.
This photo series moves through ordinary scenes, constructed symbols, nature, human presence, and fragments of recorded visual stories. Objects made to endure become temporary; familiar images become distorted; people appear, disappearing, and dissolving into their surroundings. What initially seems fixed gradually becomes uncertain.
Rather than focusing on physical disappearance alone, the series considers impermanence as a shift in meaning. A symbol can change through context, a moment can exist only briefly, and something familiar can become strange when seen differently.
In Ephemera, permanence is never absolute. Everything we see, and everything we believe it means, is temporary.
