A photographer obsessed with chasing light.
Born in Kolkata, India, I discovered photography in 2012. I am currently based in Paris, where I continue to shape my practice and sustain myself as a researcher in Science. It was only a year ago that I chose to fully devote myself to photography, embracing it not just as an art form but as a way of life. What began as a pastime has become an essential mode of being—an intimate language through which I engage with the world on my own terms.
I am drawn to the streets, where I find refuge from imposed narratives and familiar structures. Through solitary walks and quiet observation, I attempt to translate the complexities of society into images seen from a distinctly personal vantage point—one informed by the female gaze and its encounter with public space.
