Ovidiu Șelaru is a dreamer. He was born and raised in an artsy family in the northern part of Romania, where his love for landscape and passion to create things with his own hands, was nurtured and encouraged by his parents. Ovidiu has always nursed fantasies about photography since he was a young boy. He used to watch his father paint, and he first dreamt of becoming an artist, but it never happened. Living and working in London for the past ten years, Ovidiu now pays homage to his father's talent and artistic spirit through his photography. The black-and-white photography segment with a bit of an 'eternal snapshot' twist, is the one niche that Ovidiu best identifies himself with. He is always seeking new perspectives, playing with angles and using the architectural geometry of space around him. He relies on his artistic instinct.
