Progressive Street presenta 52 fotografi da tutto il mondo e le loro opere nelle due sezioni Season – Il mondo delle stagioni: natura e città. – (all’interno del Photo Festival) e Presenze – Una mostra al femminile.
Seasons
Le quattro stagioni: occasione per cimentarsi con il tempo, la natura, la vita, atmosfere, luci, colori, personaggi: l'ampio spettro della fotografia. L'arte di guardare è nelle decine di immagini scattate, e nei loro 50 autori il significante, mentre il significato è il comprendere e il comunicare. Da primavera a estate, da autunno fino ad inverno siamo così testimoni, risuonandoci nell'orecchio uno splendido verso della poetessa Nelly Sachs (“In quest'epoca di stelle cadenti / dove ogni lucore si spegne/ se la terra alfine l'accoglie”). Questa mostra è quindi una comprensione della fotografia nella totalità dei suoi (e nostri) sensi, proiettata sui più diversi scenari urbani.
Presenze
11 fotografe ritraggono la realtà alla ricerca di tracce. Tracce di un passato o di un presente invisibile. Tracce di sentimenti e speranze, delusioni e paure. E accompagnano le 11 immagini con altrettanti oggetti che testimoniano la loro presenza/assenza, oggetti in cui c’è qualcosa di loro ma anche non c’è. Una mostra di anime.

The world of the seasons: nature and city. The reaction of man to the cycle of life
Seasons / The four seasons: an opportunity to portray in a special way, a defined moment in time. A wide spectrum of photography, showing nature, life, atmosphere, light, colours and characters. The art of looking is evident in the dozens of images taken, and their 50 authors, the signifiers, offer their understanding; communicating the meaning of the seasons to them.
From spring to summer, from autumn to winter we are thus witnesses, as if echoing in our ears, is a splendid verse of the poetess Nelly Sachs: “In this age of shooting stars / where every light goes out / if the earth finally welcomes it”.
This exhibition is therefore an understanding of photography in the totality of its (and our) senses, projected on the most diverse urban scenarios.

11 photographers portray reality in search of traces. Traces of an invisible past or present. Traces of feelings, hopes, disappointments and fears. The 11 images are accompanied by a number of objects that somehow testify both to their presence and absence. Objects which may/may not help tell of themselves, so subtle the links, not easily defined: merely a presence. This is an exhibition of souls.
