Pension Protest Paris

My camera often brings me to places where I don’t belong, and this time, I got stuck between the riot police and French protesters. I went for a peaceful photo walk in Paris, and before I knew it, I was surrounded by riot police. Of course, I had to take some photographs and get some extra exercise because I had to run a few times not to be hit. A series of protests began in France in 2023 with a demonstration nationwide, organized by opponents of the pension reform bill to increase the retirement age from 62 to 64. The protests didn’t work and the retirement age went up to 64.
