Progressive Street

 Betty is a street and documentary photographer currently based in Athens, Greece, and an official member of Moments Collective. She holds a Degree in Business Administration. The majority of her work documents everyday life in Athens, because the city is her home. For her, street photography is ultimately liberating because it is an expression of her need to look at things differently. Her photography has been exhibited nationally and internationally and published in the Eye-Photo Magazine, Edge of Humanity Magazine, The Pictorial-List Magazine, Inspired Eye, Street Photography Magazine, Street Photographers Foundation Magazine, Street Sweeper Magazine, Street Core Photography eZine, Photographic Mercadilo, Wondersofphotography, Photologio.gr . 

I'm much interested in the realm of dreamlike approach as well as the expressive, meaningful side of things. What I photograph is defined by what I believe in.

As a photographer, I try my pictures to reflect  a surplus of meaning, to stimulate a feeling, to move the viewer emotionally and express an aesthetic or feeling in a poetic way.

I firmly  believe that every image  is a documentation of our era's changing visual culture to some degree, whether it is a surreal, sometimes unreal, an abstraction or social "straight" picture.
